1. The service

SalesBuddy is a software workspace that helps licensed insurance agents enter customer risk information once and collect quotes from multiple carrier portals through a browser extension that runs in the agent's own signed-in sessions.

SalesBuddy is not an insurance carrier, broker, or agent, and does not sell, bind, or advise on insurance. All quotes, premiums, and coverage decisions come from the carriers and the licensed agents using the service.

2. Your account and responsibilities

You must be a licensed insurance professional or act under the supervision of one. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for every quote, proposal, and sale made through your account.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and carrier portal sign-ins secure, and for the activity of every producer you invite to your agency.

You may only access carrier portals you are authorized to use, and you must comply with each carrier's own terms of use while the extension operates in your session.

3. Customer data

You confirm you have the right to collect and process your customers' personal information and that your use of SalesBuddy complies with applicable privacy and insurance regulations.

Quote data you enter belongs to you and your agency. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Quotes and proposals

Premiums shown in SalesBuddy are captured from carrier portals at a moment in time and are not guaranteed until bound with the carrier. A displayed quote never implies binding readiness.

Proposals you send to customers through SalesBuddy are your communications; you are responsible for their accuracy and for any required disclosures.

5. Subscription and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Agency plans include the owner and one producer seat; additional seats are billed per seat per month at the rate shown on the Plan & team page.

You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt to access other agencies' data, reverse engineer the extension, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or that abuse carrier portals through the extension.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that carrier portals will remain compatible with the extension or that quotes will always be available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalesBuddy's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the current version on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
