What we collect

Account data: your name, email, agency details, and branding information you provide.

Quote data: the applicant, property, and coverage information you enter or import to generate quotes, including documents you upload such as declaration pages.

Usage data: how you use the app, carrier job status, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Carrier portal credentials are never stored by SalesBuddy. The browser extension works inside your own signed-in browser sessions.

How we use it

To provide the service: running quote jobs, building comparisons, proposals, and win sheets, and showing owners their agency's activity.

To communicate with you about your account, quotes that need attention, and service updates.

To improve reliability and security. We do not sell your data or your customers' data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see what

Producers see only their own quotes and customers. Agency owners see their team's quotes and sales metrics. Customers see only the proposal pages you explicitly share with them via a private link.

We use a small number of subprocessors to host and operate the service (cloud hosting, database, and AI processing for document extraction and research). They process data only on our instructions.

Retention and your choices

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete quotes and customers at any time, and you can request full account deletion by emailing help@salesbuddy.org.

You can request a copy of your data, or correction of inaccurate data, at the same address.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production data is restricted and logged. The extension connects with short-lived, server-verified tokens and never handles your carrier passwords.
